On the last day of our trip to Glasgow last December (I know, I know, so long ago!), we had a few hours before catching our train back to London, so decided to go for a walk to Glasgow Necropolis.
Fresh snow had fallen the night before, blanketing the cemetery in a carpet of white. It made a lovely contrast against the dark Victorian gravestones and monuments. The Necropolis hadn't been on my list of places to visit, but I'm glad we went. The short, quiet stroll along the lonely graves turned out to be one of my favourite moments in Glasgow.
