Stall Stuff

Change is afoot at the Tea Rooms stall...Former stall partner Rory is now off to greener (and much better paying pastures), and I have partnered up with a fishy little purveyor of Toot. Come and check out the new layout (in the same old space) if you're in town.
Old ladies, horses with broken legs and naked men with half an arm -we've got them all!
A naughty alphabet - avert your eyes, children!
We also have an occasional inhouse tarot reader, who comes with a set of cards she designed herself. What clever people!

More Cards

A few new handmade cards - some vaguely Christmas-themed - are now available at my Tea Rooms stall from this weekend onwards. If you're interested in one but can't get to Brick Lane, send me an email and I'll try to reserve it for you.

Winter News

Here are a few bits shop-related news for winter -
I recently purchased a few bags of remnants from a factory, and inside the bags were lengths of these rather fantastic snowflake-printed knitted fabric. How wonderfully festive! I've sewn up a couple of pairs for sale at the Tea Rooms, but may make a few more for the Etsy shop. Is anyone interested?

Secondly, I have finally set up a Folksy shop, with a number of prints and postcards for sale. The above prints are now available on both Folksy and Etsy

An Exchange

Ai of the delicious blog it will stop raining put out a call a few weeks ago about having a food swap. Having been a fan of the blog for a while, I was only too glad to take part in it and send her a package. This was the package I received from her on Saturday.
Hello Kitty stamp! And that cute little bumblebee-dude on the right is just so happy!
This photo is making me want an ice-cream so badly - who cares if it's freezing over here right now?!
Goodies - chocolate biscuits, shiruko biscuits, and grape flavoured chewing gum.
My favourite flavour of gum, and pretty much the only flavour I'll eat (I'll take apple flavoured gum too).
The shiruko biscuits come individually packaged. Inside each one is a sweet cracker, with a layer of red bean sandwiched inside. They are so delicious and more-ish, but I'm trying to ration them so they last longer.
