Edinburgh On Film

We arrived at Edinburgh Waverly Station, and got a little lost trying to find our hotel, even though it was quite literally across the road from the station.

On Calton Hill doing touristy activities such as climbing up Nelson's Monument and receiving a 'certificate of achievement' for making it to the top of the tower.

This handsome fellow came over to say hello...

Camera Obscura

More from Edinburgh - this time from Camera Obscura, which I thought would be naff but turned out to be hella fun.

Eating Edinburgh (Part One)

A selection of junk food. Bad for the waistline, but strangely satisfying, nonetheless.
Ham and cheese croissant - train food.
Nutella and banana crepe from the German Christmas Market. It was 'healthy' because it has bananas in it.
Fried mozzarella sticks. We also had fish and chips but you all know what that looks like.
Deepfried Mars bar. Yes, I did it! It was listed under 'Traditional Fried Foods' in the chip shop.
The 'Burgh Breakfast' crepe. Don't judge me, I was starving and it was a cold day.
Sour cream and chives pretzels - train food again, this time on the way back.

(Almost) Black Books

While in Edinburgh last week, the Manbeast and I quite literally stumbled into our new favourite bookshop. Shelves laboured under the weight of dusty tomes, while every available inch of wall was covered in pithy life lessons.

Suffice to say that the both of us left that warm, magical cave with happy hearts, light wallets and heavy arms from buying too many books.
